Shuai Wang was formerly the Chef de Cuisine at Chez Sardine, an untraditional izakaya in the West Village of NYC. Prior to that he was the Sous Chef at Joseph Leonard, an American bistro in the West Village. He got his kitchen chops by creating mayhem in the steak houses of Tribeca.
Corrie Wang is a young adult novelist. Prior to co-owning Short Grain, her last paying gig was running a three story night club on the Lower East Side of NYC. Her debut novel is coming out May 9, 2017 through Disney Hyperion.
